We are committed to creating a total reward approach, acting as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for the delivery of Reward and Recognition strategies, policies and processes and ensuring that a total reward framework is fully embedded.
The role of Head of Reward is a key position and a core member of the P&C leadership team. Reporting to the Director of P&C, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the Reward element of our new P&C strategy, focusing on the total reward landscape. There is a strong transformational element to this role.
The remit will include a more modern approach to salary reviews, benchmarking of salaries, cost-effective benefit provision, better use of technology, pensions management and job evaluation processes.
By the time the successful candidate takes up their post, we expect that the lion's share of the preparatory work – negotiations around base pay, allowances and job evaluation – will have been concluded, so you will be able to focus on the organisational culture change required to embed the new arrangements.
